It is the most densely populated city of the state and is also the 14th largest city in the world. Being a mega city, Los Angeles has countless exit and entrance points. As for airports, it has six commercial airports and dozens of private airports. The largest and most famous of these airports is the Los Angeles International Airport which comprises of 9 terminals. The terminals are so vast that it takes a good 10 minutes to reach from one to another.

Los Angeles is also accessible by train and by bus. If you are entering the city via train, Amtrak station located at N. and Alameda St next to Hollywood freeway in downtown LA (short for Los Angeles) would be your point of entry. If you are coming in via bus then you have various options like Greyhound terminal or North Hollywood station.

A tourist has the option of renting a car, or taking rail system that is connected to most of the tourist attractions in the city. Since LA is such a huge place, it is more advisable to opt for the rail system to avoid getting stuck in one of the city’s famous traffic jams and navigating the complex free way system.
